Day 100
Always good to see mass transit spreading some holiday cheer! Wishing everyone a safe, loving, and prosperous holiday season :-)
Day 99
So I'm guilty of stretching out my last few days of happiness. Mostly because I wanted to include Thanksgiving, one of my favorite holidays of the year! As I near the end of this challenge - literally there is one more post - I am happy to welcome the close of 2014 and, God willing, the beginning of 2015. Another year, another chance to do it all again and to do more and to do it better than before.

Day 96
Bought some goodies for a friend to help make her bday a little more festive. And to my surprise, the cashier at Zaro's bakery gave me two Danishes! Now I have a goody to enjoy for myself.

Day 95
Although he didn't make it all the way through with his promise, it was very nice of the Mr to offer to bring me hot chocolate when walking me home from the bus stop in the evening. I'll keep wishing that it happens ^.^ But for now, the shared walk home is enough.

Day 93
A quick fix allows me to wear this ring from my wedding day. It was a gift from my parents and no matter what my dad always buys me rings that are a tad too big. Problem solved ^.^

Day 92
The successful landing of the Philae lander after years of travel on a moving comet is just astounding. I could not help but gawk and smile at this story. Hurray for science!! Talk about being fashionably late and making a grand entrance ^.^

Day 91
The weather has been surprisingly mild these past few days for November. Today it was nice and foggy. The eerie fog against the deeply colored trees created such a lovely scene as I took the train to school this morning. I remember when I was younger, I thought fog was caused by clouds settling down on the Earth. I'm sure there were attempts to capture the fog so I could have my own little piece of the clouds. Now that I'm older, I realize that's not quite how it works. Fog is still enjoyable nonetheless. It's been a while since I've experienced a good foggy day.

Day 87
Some decent inspiration from fortune cookies. When exactly did they stop giving fortunes?? I'm I getting so old that I can actually remember the transition from fortunes to the inspirational quotes-Chinese words-lucky numbers combo that now appears in these little creasant cookies??

Day 85
Well stated. This is good motivation to get me through grad school. It's going to be quite the journey, but it's a trip worth taking.

Day 80
November is here!!! This is one of my favorite months of the year. For the past few years I have been hosting my own Thanksgiving dinners. They usually turn out nice and I get to enjoy my favorite member of the poultry family!!! There is nothing better than a nice piece of turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce. Yummmmm.

Day 79
As I grow older I notice more and more that I am coming into the age when people start losing their parents. I have encountered several situations already in which friends have had to say good bye to their fathers and mothers. I am greatful that I can still enjoy and love my mom and dad. I hope to have them around for many more years.
